Three years ago Jeff Arcuri was playing comedy clubs with about 200 seats. In January he'll play two nights at Seattle's Moore Theatre, one stop on a 45-city run he's calling the Road Trip Tour.

Plenty of people know his face before his name. Arcuri built his following on crowd work: he asks someone in the front row what they do for a living, and ten minutes later he's woven their answer, their partner's hometown and a heckle from the balcony into a single closing joke. The clips have been watched millions of times, and the Los Angeles Times described him as the guy from your Instagram reels you can't quite place.

That changed this summer with "Nice to Meet You," his first hour for Netflix. It was shot in the round, and it mixes the improvised back-and-forth he is known for with written material about married life with his wife, Katie Thurston. Deadline, which put him on its Comics to Watch list in 2024, announced the special's July premiere alongside news of the tour.

The Road Trip Tour opens January 19 at The Magnolia in El Cajon, California, and works its way across the U.S. and Canada before closing at New York's Beacon Theatre in early June. Seattle comes early in the run. Arcuri plays the Moore on Friday, January 29, and Saturday, January 30, 2027.

The Moore is a good room for this kind of show. It opened in 1907 and is the oldest working theater in Seattle, with about 1,800 seats split between the orchestra and the balcony levels. For a comic who spends half the night talking to the audience, the orchestra seats are where the action is. Sit there and there's a decent chance you'll end up in the act. The balconies have a clear view of the stage, and they're the safer pick if you'd rather just laugh.

The theater is on Second Avenue in Belltown, a short walk from Pike Place Market. Garages nearby fill up fast on show nights, so give yourself extra time or take a bus downtown. Shows like this tend to run about 90 minutes.

Tickets, seating charts and prices for both nights are on our Jeff Arcuri at the Moore Theatre page. Weekend comedy shows at the Moore often sell out, so it's worth booking early if you want the Saturday night.
